A change for King Bob
After almost 25 years in national sales with Learfield Sports, King Bob is transitioning to a new role. King Bob (that’s Bob Feldwisch if you didn’t know) has been instrumental in helping build our national sales business, along with Doug Bax and others. He is a great friend and we’re all very grateful for what he’s done for our company.
When King Bob started with Learfield:
- Ronald Reagan was President
- Lee Iacocca was pitching K-Cars
- The Soviet Union boycotted the Los Angeles Olympics
- “The Terminator” was released on the big screen
- Michael Jackson’s hair caught on fire while filming a Pepsi commercial
- Apple released the very first Macintosh
Since that time:
- King Bob has logged about one million frequent flyer miles serving his clients
- He’s driven over half a million miles in his car across Missouri, Kansas, Iowa, Illinois and Oklahoma
- He’s been a member of the Chairman’s Club and hit goal over a dozen times
- He has generated nearly 30 million dollars in sales for the company
King Bob’s new role will consist mostly of helping to train, educate and develop our salespeople. He will work through next March helping to transition his national sales accounts. I know his wife, Susie, will be happy to have him off the road!
