GOP Communications Director Sloca leaves post for new opportunities
The Missouri Republican Party's Communications Director has left the building. Paul Sloca, a former journalist with the Associated Press, has vacated his post as the GOP's main spokesman.
Reached on his cell phone, Sloca said he felt it was time to move on. He says he is working on several options and "plans to be around."
Contacted at GOP headquarters, Party Executive Director Jared Craighead praised Sloca for the job he had done since coming to the Republican Party prior to the 2004 elections. He says it was Sloca's decision to move on.

Godspeed Paul Sloca! You were too good for Jared (Craighead) and his immoral acts anyway! You'll land on your feet and not in jail like the rest of the Blunt mafia.

Paul is a good guy and represented the party well. I think he will be missed.
